The gravestone of Eva and Charles Crouch at Uniontown Cemetary in KS. Taken in Sept 2004 when Joyce and Steve visited the Crouch farm and Uniontown.

Presumably near the front porch of the family home, this undated photo shows the full family along with cousins Nellie and Ethel Stone.

Vera has written 'Mama' and 'Papa' at the bottom of the photo, and, barely visible except on the scanned image, 'Vera' and 'Floyd' above the white border.
Charles Crouch as a baby, so likely around 1866? This could also be another Charles Crouch, son of Albert and Cora Crouch. But features of this photo resemble Charles Clinton Crouch. See the photo of Children on the Beach for a photo of Charles Crouch, son of Albert.
Undated photo, but likely around 1930, of Roy Leonhardt, his in-laws Evaline and Charles, and Evaline's brother and sister-in-law, Hallie and John Stone.

This photo taken in 1915-1918 in front of the Crouch farm south of Blue Mound, KS. From left to right:
Sophia Crouch, Violet Crouch, Phyrne Crouch, Claude Crouch (son of James and Martha), Floyd Crouch (son of Charles and Eva), Virginia (Wells) Schafges, Glenn Crouch, Charles Clinton Crouch (son of James and Martha), Evaline Crouch.
A note from Floyd Crouch dated in 1978 describes the people in this photo.
Eva and Charles Crouch in the 'Fortune' photo. Information on this photo indicates that Eva is 23 and Charles is 28, so this dates the photo at about 1894.
Also of note here is that the address of the photo studio is in downtown Los Angeles. A drive by of this site in 2007 revealed that the studio is of course no longer there.

The back of the photo shows two different handwritings. 'Age 23 and 28' and 'Eva and Charles Crouch'. Author unknown.
Charles Crouch was born on December 18, 1865 near Xenia, Kansas. He died on July 31st, 1933 near Blue Mound, Kansas.
His obituary is available here.
This is a section of the Platt map of the Crouch farm where Joyce Leonhardt and Larry Leonhardt spent several years around 1933.

This is a view looking west from the driveway into the farm. Most of the farming acreage appears to be in this west section. The farm was 85 acres.
